That’s her at age 5. She’s pretty, isn’t she? She came into our lives sometime in 2007 when she was 8 years old. Don’t let her doeful eyes fool you. She’s a feisty cat in her young days.
That’s her now at 20. Arthritis is evident in her rickety legs, she has hyperthyroid and a growth on her back. It’s tough, both on her and us (my husband and I), aka her slaves. She can’t jump into bed with us like she used to and has less appetite for food. I worry over changes in her behaviour, concerned that she may be suffering in pain. I am only thankful that I have more time with her now that I don’t have to work.
